In my practice, we use a lot of visco-supplementation for osteoarthritis of the knee and I think that Synolis is convenient to use, has a good safety profile and the patients get improvement after the treatment.

Synolis is a combination of sorbitol and hyaluronic acid. Studies have shown that it has been able to lubricate as well as absorbing shocks in the arthritic joint. So in the various stages of the osteoarthritis, there are some benefits.

I think overall Synolis has a good effect on all stages of osteoarthritis, stage 1 to stage 4. Of course, at stage 4, the result will not be as good as stage one. But I think there will be an overall benefit in terms of reduction of VAS pain and also improving the function of the knee.
